Te Reo throughout the classroom.

To encourage students to use Te Reo on a daily basis each week we have a Te Reo phrase that students learn to say and respond to in Te Reo.
Each of these phrases are talked about in the morning and encouraged throughout the day.
These are displayed and hung in the classroom.



I have noticed that the students are excited about using and learning the phrases each week. They have been correcting themselves when they have used it wrong.

As part of this there are Te Reo labels around this class on common classroom items- this is also encouraging the students to use the Te Reo word instead.
